Clifford heard Idelle’s shout, he looked front and find her pointing at some spot behind him. Panic, the teen turned his head towards the direction, and just like the ginger head, his eyes were now widen in horrors. Damnit! he cursed mentally, and sprinted to the circle again. It’s cold, his arms were now tired, and he began to feel drained out. But most importantly, he hoped he’s not going to be late to save that kid. “You girls stay in the circle until someone passed here,” he said firmly as he set Vera next to Idelle. He couldn’t ask them to get some help because, one, Idelle was still too young that it’ll be easier for her to be enchanted by the magic around this place, while Vera was in no condition to move and to ward off the dark power too.
“Sorry to give you more people to be taken care of, Catherwood,” the sixth year smiled at the first year, knowing that she’s probably the most scared between all of them. He then turned around, “Accio broom!” and shouted the summoning charm as he ran back into the sea. Thankfully, Parris dorm was somewhere near the area, so Clifford’s broom didn’t take much time to come to its master. It rocketed out the villa, flew above the students in the circle, and it didn’t stop when it spot its master. Clifford noticed the broom presence, the water now reached his shin, but he’s right on time to grab the broom’s stick, and swung himself on top of it.
Now he’s flown deeper into the fog, and was nowhere to be seen.

“No way—” Vera coughed hard after she comprehended the new information from the redhead. However, the student body president turned for a while, and then he sprinted to get her as fast as he could into some kind of protection circle. So the info was accurate. When is this going to end? Vera thought irritably as she’s being set down. She hugged herself, and watched him run off again. Was she worried? Maybe, because he’s a lone rescuer in this rescue team. Nonetheless, she had faith in him. Besides the first years, student of Salom knew that Clifford Algren was capable of many things—turning a disastrous incident into a calm afternoon was one of them.
The blond shivered and struggling to find her wand. Thank goodness it didn’t get washed away. She casted a hot air charm on her, and now she’s dry, feeling a bit warmer, and better. Vera quickly checked the two kids, afraid that they already got hypothermia or something—but then she realized that they’re already taken care for, and they’re still breathing. She breathed a sigh of relief as she looked up to the redhead girl who’s standing near them. “Good job on drying them,” she said, “And thank you, for calling help,” and pushed herself to stand up too. There’s a slight annoyed tone in her voice thanked to all these mess, but her words were sincere. Also, she decided to not pull off the spells on the kids since they could wake up anytime and proceeding into the sea, again.
Now, they waited.. She’s still shivering, so she hugged herself again. Vera’s pretty sure that the temperature in this shore will remain dropping and they’ll stay cold no matter what they did. They needed to leave this place, fast. But what about Clifford? And the kid? “Where did you last see Algren?” asked the raccoon with a trembling voice. The waves were crashing, but it felt so quiet, and it’s been some time since the president body had left them.

"Be careful!" Idelle shouts at the President as he head back to the ocean. The fog is thick as ever. Soon enough Clifford completely disappear from their sight. The first year glance at the unconscious kids. She remember their faces and houses but not their name. She need to work on that. A wandmaker must have excellent memory. They are expected to remember the details of a wand along with its owner. Idelle can memorize everyone's name in this academy for a start. Along with their wand of course. She glance at Blondie when she take out her wand. Cherry. With her bossy nature, most likely dragon heartstring. Father always remind her not to take a wand's characteristics as stereotypes but human can be so fickle. So easy to read. Idelle make a note to herself to be wary of the Blonde. Cherry owners are powerful.
"Oh," Idelle blink once when Blondie speak to her. "Your welcome. Good job for holding on that long until President got here" she said to her with a soft voice. A proper lady must never raise her voice. Except in extreme situations of course.
They wait for Clifford to come back. And wait. And wait. And wait. Idelle start to panic inside. What if she saw ot wrong? She just sent the President to a blind search/chase. Literally. Blondie asking her don't help either. "I am quite certain he flew that way..." She try to keep her cool. Shoot, she don't know much spells. She can't fly. She sure as heck can't swim for long distance. Not in this kind of current especially. Is there anything she can do?
'Something I can do...' Idelle think hard. Then it hit her. There is something she can do. 'Something only I can do' Her gift. Detecting wand's magic from this distance is impossible... But if it's Clifford's broom... It's a slim chance really but Idelle have no other choice. Gripping tightly to the handle of her wand, Idelle focus on her senses. She can perfectly sense the magic in her wand, Blondie's wand and the two kids'. Now to extend her senses... She never done something like this before but there's a first for everything.

A boy is rowing along the ocean. He was whistling cheerfully when he suddenly see a kid. "Oh?" he arches an eyebrow confusedly and warily. 'What's with the kid...? He looks like he's dead...' carefully, he rows toward the kid, but the kid doesn't seem to notice his presence. When he's close enough, he pulls the kid into his own boat. If people see him pulling the kid, they will thought he tried to kill an innocent soul. It's not his fault that the way he was pulling the kid looks like he was choke-slamming him!
When he touches him though, the kid immediately out cold. He's a bit surprises, but he decides to ignore the weird behavior. Maybe the kid was sleep-walking... when he sure the kid safe on his arm, he rows again.
It's not that far when he suddenly see a glimpse of gold between the fog. He knows that nothing in this ocean can show such a stunning color, except for a certain goldie he knows so well... "Oi, Fluffy!" the boy, Alvero Foster, shouts.

Clifford was flying carefully, trying to locate the kid with his best senses. However, he found nothing, and it panicked him a lot. “Shit!” the boy hissed and smacked his broom—which stopped abruptly after that, he nearly fell. Since no one was here to watch him fail, he could show a bit of his incapability, his weakness. Sighing tiredly and shivering in cold, the raccoon hugged himself, and leaned front—his head touching the warm surface of his broom. “What should I do now..?” he gritted his teeth. He didn’t intend to become the first student body president that let a student die in this shore—they had twenty years clean records, and he couldn’t ruin it, he mustn’t!
Between his desperation, Clifford tried to think of methods to find the kid—like detecting spell of something. But that was when he heard a loud voice, a call. It seemed that he’s familiar with the owner of the voice. Clifford was an observant, so he always noticed the slightest change and the gossips between the fellow students. As far as he knew, there’s only one person with that nickname in this academy, and she was back at the beach. And there’s only one people who called her that..
Clifford sat straight again, and maneuvered his broom to the direction of the voice. He breathed heavily as he spotted wine colored hair, and the previous boy he was looking for, resting in his arms. “Good morning, Alvero Foster,” the sixth year greeted tiredly, and hovered next to the Thorn’s boat. He finally had the time to cast the hot air charm to him, and to the unconscious boy, just in case. “I believe your fluffy await at the beach, and also, I believe you’re not supposed to be here,” he said after he finished, smiling genuinely to the fourth year.

Vera was honestly surprised that the girl was being nice with her. Usually, after she… commanded someone, they always ended up becoming rather (or very) hostile towards her. Maybe the ginger was not as bad as she looked, perhaps she was smart and not as innocent as the other first years. “Hmm..” Vera moved front, and turned to the direction the red-head’s pointing on. She tried to be careful so that she won’t accidently step out the circle.
However, she was beginning to freak in when five minutes passed, then ten.. “Are you sure—” Vera looked down to the first year, but stopped mid-sentence when she noticed her focused expression. “Are you okay?” she asked, afraid that something started bugging the girl. Who knew what other people saw in this beach.. it could be nasty. But she saw… Dillon--Well, maybe this younger girl just worried about Clifford and the kid. Should the raccoon assure her?
”Fluffy!” Vera was contemplating when she heard a vague call coming from the direction of the ocean. “Huh?” she raised a brow and squint her eyes to get a better look. “Is that..” she trailed off in disbelief as some silhouettes became clearer figures. “Vero!” the blonde gasped in awe, her eyes pinned on the red head boy, then at the smaller kid in his arms, and at Clifford Algren that flew next to them. Thank God! Even though it’s rather confusing—all of them made it!

English Oak wand owners have close affinity with the magic resides in the natural world. It's the perfect wand for her, the one who can sense magic in others. Idelle is unable to sense magic inside a person (if she can, she will literally be a sniffer for Muggleborn and Squibs). Idelle can feel warmth spreading from her wand to her palms, as if giving her encouragement. A wand shop have a large amount of magic packed in one room, hence why some can literally sense magic on their skin. Idelle's ability allow her to feel magic outdoors. Now that they are outside, she is able to sense the magic radiating from the beach.
No magical trees around but Idelle cannot shake a strange feeling. It is akin to the one you felt while in a wandshop but different at the same time. Idelle hear Blondie said something but she can't make out the words. Her eyes trained to the water, desperately looking for any sign of Clifford and the kid.
Idelle held her breath when she hear someone shouts. Something is coming out from the fog- "President!" She shouts with obvious glee at the sight of a very alive Clifford, and two others (who's the red haired guy?)

Upon feeling the wind change around him, he turns only to see the student body president hovered right beside his bot. "Wait--what? President, why're you here?" he asks confusedly, especially since the president cast hot air charm to them. Vero is kinda used to the cold air around in misty shore, he doesn't need it--oh. It was the boy. Why doesn't he thought about it sooner? The kid could pass out because of the cold. He mentally slap himself because sometimes he can be so ignorant.
"Good morning to you too, president," he greets back, but before he can answer the president's question, someone he knows so well called his name. "Fluffy! What's up?" he waves toward the golden raccoon. The boat finally reaches the beach so he hops down from it, still holding the unconscious boy. "Why are you here? And why is the president here too?" his eyes landed on a red-head girl, and another unconscious boys. "So why is everyone here?"

Vera nearly jumped when the redhead shout in glee. She thought she’ll be annoyed (most of the time, she’s irritated whenever a person looks too happy), but in the contrary, she smiled at the relief that painted all over the younger girl’s face. Maybe because both of them felt the same emotion. “Oh my God..” again, there’s a hint of disbelief in her voice when she spot Alvero Foster, waving towards her. What in the world was he doing here? It couldn’t be good, both of them will be in trouble, she knew.
“It’s uhh… long story,” Vera stepped out of the protection circle, and walked to settle in her friend’s side. “What are you doing here?” she whispered to him, and clutched onto one of his elbow, trying not to hit the kid in his arms at the process. And of course, she avoided any eye contact with the student body president.

Clifford smiled at Vero when he greeted him back. It’s obvious that the bear was surprised. “Ah..” the teen then waved at the spider who waited for them in the beach. She looked genuinely happy, and relief, and it pleased Clifford because she actually did wait for him—well, Vera too waited for him, but he knew she’s not going to be very happy after this. “I’m sorry for the wait. I hope I didn’t worry you too much,” the raccoon landed in front of the Skelton, and smiled in guilt. “I see you taken care of my things, thank you,” but his smile turned into a brighter one when he saw his clothes folded neatly next to her.
Clifford then wore his jacket and his shoes, and picked up the remaining kids when he finished, each on his sides. “Let’s leave first, Foster. Then I’ll answer your question,” he gave everybody a signal to follow him up the hills, leaving the beach. “Well, I believe that these kids were curious about the beach, took a stroll to get a better look, and ended up being enchanted. While Bellross was on her way back from the chateau, like she usually does--though the teachers believe that she stopped a long time ago. Am I right, Verania?” the sixth year deducted when they finally arrived at the safer place, and spared a glance to the blonde.
“Idelle Catherwood was coincidently at the scene. I’m pretty much sure that she was jogging before she somehow ended up looking for help, and found me who was getting ready for my morning chores,” he then turned to see Idelle, and spoke in a softer tone. “As for you, Alvero Foster,” finally, Clifford’s eyes lied on Vero, and they didn’t look very happy. “I don’t know what you’re doing in the sea, but you’re clearly unaffected which makes it, odd. The only explanation is that you already get used to the dark magic in that place, but that means that you actually visited that place, often. Meaning you broke a series of rules constantly, just like your friend here,” the boy firmly spoke and tilted his head to the oldest girl, his calm and friendly demeanor had disappeared. But no, he didn’t look angry.
He’s confused, and a bit upset at himself because of the new found fact of Alvero Foster. The redhead and his gang was some sort of trouble maker, and they’re loved for it. So far, they didn’t seem to endanger others / themselves, that’s why Clifford let them run free, since their existence was also very refreshing to the school and of course, the students. However, this time’s different.. “Now,” Clifford fixed the children’s position, “What am I going to do to the both of you?” and stared coldly at the fourth years.

If it's not for years of training, Idelle would already be swooning or faint on the spot. Clifford Algren is smiling at her! Thanking her! He's just so dazzling! "It's nothing," she smiled bashfully. "I am just glad the situation didn't get any worse than it already is." That's true. SALOM is located on a danger prone location. The faculty itself seems to attract danger. Not to mention the students eagerly throw themselves into sticky situation... In any case, she's just glad that no one is seriously injured. The Student Body President's heroic deeds make her crush on him get bigger. Idelle smiled to Clifford, quite pleased that he speaking in soft tone towards her.
Alvero Foster and Verania Belross... So that's their name... Idelle watched the two fourth years as Clifford speak to them. A cherry owner and a boy who seemingly have great resistance against the dark magic around this area... From what Clifford said, these two are quite the work. Interesting people have interesting wands. Not to mention daring exploits. "Violation of rules requires punishment in return. At the same time, good deeds deserve to be acknowledged." Idelle look up to Clifford. "They did both of those two things today. For sneaking out and for helping the younger students. Both of these deeds must be rewarded. The good don't outweigh the bad and vice versa. I believe you will be able to reach a suitable decision for Miss Belross and Mister Foster, President."

"Things," Vero whispered back to Vera. He followed the others toward safer place in silence, thinking how come he ended up in this situation. When Clifford explained the reason why they were here in the first place and eyed him with that look, he's slightly panicking inside though on the outside he seems calm. He's not going to reveal his morning routine here! "I'm not used to it, I used protection spell," he didn't lie; he never go here completely bare from some protection spell. Who knows what kind of surprise the Misty Shore holds? Sure, he encountered quite a few of them, and he's smart enough to not go there unprotected.
He glances toward the other girl whose name is Catherwood and can't be more thankful that she said some reasonable things to the president. However he can't relax yet; the president is far from naive and he clearly will not be sway by that alone. Ugh, dealing with Skelton and Parris is draining a lot of energy. "She's right, president. Well, I'm not denying that I indeed break a rule, but as far as I know, no one get hurt because of that. And also I believe that in this case, I saved a kid by doing that."

"Well said, Catherwood.." Honestly, Idelle Catherwood really did surprise him. He’d never encounter a first year who was so mature—many pretended to be, but this was the first time he actually met a girl who could deduct his thoughts in two sentences, and they sounded wise, he couldn’t possibly put up a better phrase. She came from a good family, and they were known for their broad knowledge and their professionalism, so actually, it was no shocking at all that the heir of the wand shop was actually this sharp.
However, his attention was being torn away when Alvero Foster spoke again, and so he listened to his excuses. “You broke rules,” the teen smiled to the fourth year, however, there’s no friendliness whatsoever in his gaze. Well, Clifford did thought about it, though. Alvero and Idelle was right, both fourth years did save the kid. If they didn’t broke the rules, who knew what will happen to those three. If only this happened in the right circumstances, he’d happily award them already. But now they were standing in the presence of a first year, so Clifford, at the same time, couldn’t let their disobedience slipped away, or left unattended—well, punished. He should set a good example, plus, something about the redhead boy bugged him.
Now, what should he do? The question remained the same. He eyed the spider for a while, then to bear, and to his fellow raccoon. He smirked when noticed that she remained completely quiet, but those look of hers couldn’t fool him. He knew she’s planning something, in case he’ll give her and her… friend, a hard time. “Five points, will be awarded to Skelton,” he started, with a firm voice, “And ten points, will be divided from Thorn and Parris,” and looked down to his fourth years juniors, however, the threatening look in his eyes had disappear. “Although, for the award for saving these three, I’m not going to inform the teachers about your disobedience, so you can both rest asure. But, I want to talk to both of you today, after classes.”

‘Things’ like what, exactly?? Vera rolled her eyes to her friend, thinking that they better won’t be in a deeper trouble, thanked to.. everything! She followed Clifford up the hills, but like Vero, she knew that he’s not happy in the slightest bit. For now, though, she thought it’ll be better to remain silent and let things flow. If Clifford Algren decided to punish them, she already had some things in her sleeves, but deep in her heart, she knew that he’ll be able to make the right decision. There’s a decision why the sixth year was adored by many.
Miss?? Mister?? Really?? Vera’s eyes widen in disbelief at Idelle Catherwood’s statement. She sure had an old soul, but that’s not a big surprise, considering that she’s the daughter of the wand maker himself—Vera was kinda a fan of her father (like everybody else). And also, meeting the heir was a bit of big deal (yeah she heard rumors that one of the new students was a Catherwood, but she thought they were lying. Oh well, maybe she should’ve paid more attention to the sorting ceremony), it’s an honor, actually, but she won’t admit it to the girl anytime soon.
Nonetheless, she felt a bit upset, but also thankful to the ginger. Upset because her words seemed too mature for her age (aren’t fourth years supposed to be naïve and clueless, like the ones in Vero’s and Clifford’s arms??), and that’s probably just because she wanted to put on a smart act in front of the student body president—Vera was the raccoon here, she’s the one that supposed to act sma—but anyway, the blonde also thankful to the redhead because her every single word was right, and unlike the redhead, she wouldn’t be able to talk in a calm and sweet manner like that, so that’s definitely should swayed Clifford, even if it’s just a bit.
“Well..” Vera sighed when the platinum blonde had finally reached the decision. “I’m sorry, and thank you, president,” she looked down at the ground, and apologized, though her mind screamed about how stupid she was and how unfair—now her house should take the burden. It’s a big relief that he won’t tell on her, or Vero, to the teachers though (and it could end up worse, especially with Clifford’s power as the president), since she had problems with some of them already, at least on sneaked out after dark department, and they almost lost their patience with her. It was a big punishment, she’s very disappointed with herself, and felt bad for her house, but it’s also a big award, it meant a lot for her reputation and track record.

Idelle have a small smile on her face upon Clifford's approval. Wide grins are reserved for happy/fun occasions. Inside though, she is cheering like how Beverly C'Squad would cheer. When Clifford's attention is on the two fourth years, she observe their reactions. Alvero Foster is a bit lax but it's clear that he want to be off the hook. It didn't miss Idelle that he glance at him. Huh, he's pretty cute.... But bad boy is not in her ideal guy's criteria. Alvero Foster is still the quite eyecandy though. Verania Belross keep quiet throughout Clifford's scolding. Guilty conscience perhaps? Idelle can imagine she's panicking inside, wanting to protest. From their short interaction, Verania Belross have quite the temper. She will be lying if Idelle say she's not worried with what she's capable of. It's not rare for people to get drunk with their wand's power... Hence why the Elder wand is so dangerous as it was fascinating.
In the end, Clifford deduct points from Thorn and Parris, while Skelton is awarded 5 points. If it weren't for the current circumstances, he would award them with more points. But Idelle don't mind. She got some dirt on Foster and Belross, approval from Clifford and 3 of her yearmates didn't die. A pretty good start of the day. Idelle glances at the first years and let out a relieved sigh. She turn to the fourth years and give them a small smile meant to be a thankful smile. Then she look up to Clifford. "Shall we go back?" Idelle is itching for a nice hot shower.... And this beach is still giving her the creeps.
