Vera watched the scenes in front of her, and couldn’t help but thinking about how careless Idelle Catherwood action was. Nonetheless, she was thankful that she stepped out from the bushes and stopped all the drama. Then.. Santi had to clap her hands after that, and the blonde was itched to smack the back of her head to suddenly surprise them. Clifford was the only one that managed to response positively. Upon the fifth year whispered though, Vera could feel a slight irritation. She’s alright, she told her that, and she didn’t like to have to tell people twice. However, it’s hard to get mad at the Beverly girl, because she was really bright and Vera could feel her sincerity.
“No, thanks.. I’m good,” she told her senior, trying to sound softer since she did help her anyway, and because.. back on the incident they shared months ago, Santi was dependable, a lot. So the least she could do was to be a little nicer to her. Clifford talked to her, and she turned to glare at him but he already walked out from the scene, with Holly levitated next to him. She’s going to avoid him really hard, and just get down to business with Damien so that no one could bother her again. However, she found it weird that Clifford was levitating Holly instead of carrying her bridal style or something. Maybe he found her heavier than the first years he brought a couple of days ago, but Vera has this little voice that telling her that it’s not the case. Could it be that they’re in a future arrange marriage or something? No.. as far as she know Clifford was half blood, so the Brookheimer will certainly pick a better future husband for Holly. But.. it did occurred to her about how unreal their relationship was, it’s a toss between Clifford was a total train wreck when it comes to choosing girls (and stayed with her), or..
Vera gave a hidden glance to Santi, knowing that she probably found it weird too. For all she knew, Santi was rather sharp. The only difference was, she’s probably not as curious or nosy as the golden raccoon. “No,” Vera answered Damien, who approached them shortly after that. Damien frowned, noticed that she just snapped at him, not that he could blame her. “Alright then.. can we talk again?” the boy tried to persuade her. “Sure. Just give me a minute,” Vera scowled at him. Trying to be patient, Damien nodded at her, “Nugroho,” muttered to Santi, and gave the two some privacy.
“Hey, do you think you could meet me and Vero tonight? We’ll be waiting at the library. Oh, and bring Regis as well,” the blonde made sure that the vice president couldn’t hear them, before she eventually talked to Santi again, in a more serious tone. “I… found something about you-know-what.” The deer should understand that her junior was referring to the detention incident.
